Project Description

Manually cut and layered circles and semi-circles build an intricate, patterned abstract collage. The original collage was scanned and brought to life using the mechanical art of Risograph printing. Printed using carefully layered spot colours - including two ultra-bright fluorescent inks - this print has a vividness that regular digital printing cannot match. Because Risograph machines use real, soy-based inks transferred onto the paper via a rotating drum, every single print features tiny, charming imperfections. The overlays, natural textures, and subtle shifts in registration mean that no two prints are exactly alike. Available here
